I'm adding a link to Miss Nelson's site for her Saturday Snapshot link party!
I spent 11 hours in my classroom yesterday getting everything put away and ready. There are still a few things out and about... I STILL don't feel completely done, but here is what I have so far!

Thank you!! I'll have to take some more pictures when all the lights are on :) I'm heading over to your blog to check it out!
DeleteL-O-V-E your classroom pictures. I am starting to get jealous of everyone getting in their rooms! I have been looking all over for that rug. Where did you find it?!

Glitter, Glue & Giggles: a kindergarten blog
The small chevron print rug is from Big Lots!! I got it last year but haven't seen it recently... you should definitely check yours though! My big area rug is from Kaplan Learning, I got it through DonorsChoose.org!
DeleteI have the same chevron rug (Big Lots?) and stool (Ikea)! :)
ReplyDeleteNice! That chevron rug is hard to find now! I love my teal IKEA stool, I didn't see any in that color this season. I'm hoping mine doesn't break, ha!
DeleteLooks like you were really busy! Your room looks great. Thanks for sharing.

Such a colorful and fun-looking classroom! Your students must LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope my new kindergarteners are excited to come to school each day!
DeleteYour room looks great! What a wonderful place to be a little learner! I love the chevron rug AND your media cart.

Life in Room 24
Thank you!! I fixed up the media cart with some fancy contact paper from Target ;) it was a great warehouse find!
DeleteCute! I'm super jealous of anyone who can get into their rooms right now since I can't. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :) I hope you can get in soon!! I get so anxious in the summer time when I have to wait for cleaning and such :) Good luck!!
DeleteYour room is looking great! I use the CRAFT strategy too! I would be interested in seeing how that works with younger students.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm excited to try it out! I know a lot of primary teachers that use the CAFE and my school is really big on discourse and responding to text, so I think the CRAFT board will be a great tool!
DeleteYour room looks fabulous! Wow! If mine looks half that cute by the time school starts, I'll be thrilled! Can I say I am kind of jealous of all your trapezoid tables? I've had two forever, and I used them as an additional student table last year (otherwise, I have 4 six foot rectangular tables). I LOVED them as a student table. AND the added plus was, my students all knew what a hexagon was better than any others in the building! LOL. Thanks for the inspiration to get moving on my classroom!

Kindergarten A to Z
Thank you! I'm lucky to have these trap's! They've become rare in my district as well. Good luck in your own room, I'd love to see pictures!
DeleteLove your classroom pics! I am jealous! We can't get back in for 3 more weeks, but I am itching to get started! I love your behavior chart, is it for sale on TPT?
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
DeleteI bought the clip chart from Mrs. Ricca. Here's the link! http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Editable-Behavior-Clip-Chart-Large-Polka-Dots-311984 Enjoy!
